While much of the country is seeing a slight decline in the number of jobs, Washington is doing pretty well. There are a number of different types of jobs that seem to have a shortage of skilled and qualified workers. And many of these Washington jobs actually pay quite well, at least after you have been there for a while. The best thing to do is hit the job search sites like The Job Spider, or other popular sites and see what is being offered. You may be surprised at how many really good jobs there are currently.
